CLUB HISTORY
Our History (19/01/08)

HAFC Juniors was started in 1990 as a seperate club known as Copley Juniors. An enthusiastic group of parents got together and formed a committee to run the club which started with two teams. In the next few years more teams were added at other age groups.

In the 1997/98 season the club had to vacate it's ground at Copley and an arrangement was reached with Huddersfield Amateur Football Club to rent the pitches at Old Earth.

The following season discussions took place to put the relationship between the two clubs on a more permanent footing. Agreement was reached to combine the two clubs with with the Juniors becoming the junior section of the Amateurs.

The Juniors have enjoyed many a success since 1990 having won many league and cup competitions, however our main aim is to provide young people with a safe and happy environment to enjoy their football.
