The team at age 7 /8 were combined with the HAFC Juniors. The following season it was decided to split the team into 2 squads to give every player the opportunity to play . The then manager of the Juniors chose his preferred squad. The remaining boys then formed an under 9 team known as HAFC Colts . A new manager was required . Chris Drake stepped in and is still with the team today.
The first season as under 9's 2 new players arrived to strengthen the squad , Sam Beswick and William Calcott .The team went on to win 95 % of all its friendly games and won the Shield Final at the Shay.
The following season ,at under 10s, the team acquired another 2 players, Adam Sloane and Joe Ellis to make up the numbers to 10 strong. Playing in the under 10's the team finished 2nd in the league ,having drawn and won the league winners. Then narrowly losing in the Cup Semi final to the league winners
At the under 11s age and now playing 11 a-side 3 more players opted for a transfer from their previous clubs and Joined the team , Adam Whitaker,Curtis Dransfield and Thomas Pratt. taking the full complement of players to 13 in number - Unlucky for some! Half way through the season two more players joined ,MJ and Ollie both, from Warley Whites.
A successful 2008- 2009 campaign saw the Colts lift the league one title after loosing only two games and then completing the double by winning the Calderdale cup at the Shay. The decision was taken the leave the Calderdale league and transfer to the Huddersfield RCD league for the 2009 /2010 season. Due the teams previous success they were allowed to enter in the first division. Starting in the league in the top division is very rare, more often than not a second divsion place is granted. Prior to the start In the close season Dhan Fearn and Joe Ellis left the squad. Ben Keegan moved in from Ryburn Juniors to the now named HAFC Under 12 's.
The Huddersfield Committee were correct with their decision to grant a first division entry. HAFC finished the seson with a creditable 5 spot and were the winners of the Huddersfield cup.
Moving upto the 13's age group to play in the 2010 - 2011 season two new recruits joined the Team, Thomas from Hebeden Bridge and Jacob from Vision, after losing three payers during the close season Adam whittaker ,Curtis and Jake. (Jake had joined and palyed a handfull of game towards the end of the season).
