We started this game very poorly and Todmorden were first to every ball and far more committed and determined than we were.

They took the lead mid way through the first half and their play certainly deserved to the goal they got.

About 10 minutes before half time we woke up and started to play some great football and we managed to pull a goal back through Calum.

Not long afterwards, we scored an even better goal. Great passing and moving got us going down the right hand side and a good cross from Ryan was headed home by Calum, so we led 2-1 at the break.

We started the second half really well and continued to dominate the play with Todmorden only having a small amount of possession. Midway through the half, Harry scored his first goal for the club which put us 3-1 up but then we seemed to sit back.

Whether we thought we had the game won or not I dont know but an error let Tod back in when they scored their second goal.

Not long afterwards, another defensive error left the ball with the Tod centre forward who cooly lobbed Adam and the game was all square.

In the dying minutes, a good shot from Henry hit a post and we could have snatched a win, but it wasnt to be.

We need to learn from this going forward and not relax when leading games as this I feel, is a game we should have won.
