Under 13's (13/04/10)
Our second season in the Huddersfield Junior League saw us pushed up into Division 1 following a league re-structure and we only found out a week before the season commenced!
It took the lads a while to get used to playing the higher calibre of opposition but eventually they held their own and produced some excellent results during the season.
A few players had left and a few had joined and as with any team, players left during the course of the season but over the course of the season the squad was:
Adam Mellor Alex Shaw (left part way through the season) Calum O'Toole Cameron Speak (left part way through the season) Curtis Montgomery (left part way through the season) Daniel Siggins (joined part way through the season) Declan Moran Evan Robinson (joined part way through the season) George Smith Henry Downing Isaac Baldwin James Sharp (joined part way through the season) Joe Pinder Kyle Reilly (joined part way through the season) Lewis Brierley Matty Berry Matty Davies Sam Sheard Tom Mullin
After as season of hard work, effort and committment the lads finished in a creditable 7th place. We finished the highest of all the teams that were promoted the previous season which was a fantastic achievement.
We entered three tournaments and were successful in the Shipley tournament. The 'Juniors' won the A team section beating Wallasey Wanderers (from Merseyside) in the final.
The Rams got to the final of the B team section, norrowly losing to Menston by the odd goal.
However, a special word has to go to the third team we entered, the 'Colts' as they managed to get to the semi final of the B team section before losing on penalties to our own 'Rams'. This was a great achievement.

Although we ended up finishing in 3rd place and missing out on automatic promotion, we had a great season.
It was a far tougher league than when we played in Calderdale and the lads did themselves proud. We just ran out of steam at the end of the season and dropped a few points to miss out.
We lost in the third round of the county cup 3-1 (AET) to Shadwell Utd and lost in the Q/Final of the Hudds & District Cup going down 3-1 to Hudds YMCA.
At the end of the season we entered four tournaments. We won at Westend Juniors and lost in the final at Leeds City Juniors.
Under 11's (08/01/09)
This was the season where we left 'Mini Soccer' behind nad joined the big boys, playing 11 a side on full size pitches.

We only just missed out on the league title (by a point) finishing Runners Up to Crossley Juniors. Unfortunately, again for the third year in a row we lost in the semi final of the cup, going down 2-1 to Hebden Bridge.
At the end of the season we entered three tournaments. We won at Maltby Juniors and our B team won at Westend Juniors.
All in all, a good first season in 11 a side football.
