The team are not only teamates on the pitch but also good mates off the pitch as well.
Season 2008/2009 saw the lads move from the Calderdale Junior League into the Huddersfield Junior League where a hard fought first season in Division 2 resulted in a 3rd place finish. This meant we missed out on automatic promotion but after a slight league re-structuring we ended up promoted into the top division.
The lads learnt a great deal during the first season in this league. They know there are no easy teams and you have to battle for every point you earn, something that they will have to do even more in the top division against teams of academy standard.
May their footballing education continue, learning against the best players the league has to offer.
